- The basic cycle of the air conditioning system
- Basic components of the air conditioning system
- How to store/pump down and release refrigerant in the system
- Brazing technique
- Flushing
- Use of solvent
- Compressor oil refill
- Change bush and compressor
- Recovery system
- Change board
- Indoor service valve, sensor, blower motor, capacitor, evaporator
- How to open and install casing
- Replacing capacitor / o-ring / suction valve & discharge valve
- Use metering device
- Outdoor fan
- Motor bracket
- Condenser compressor
- Copper tube bending & equipment handling
- Swaging, flaring & pinching
- Installation & wiring of refurbished air-conditioning units
- Vacuum work, charging the system & pump down
- Taking system readings
- Leak detection
- Other matters related to electricity, gas, pressure, prices, tools, prices to customers, list of suppliers of air conditioning equipment
2. Basic entrepreneurship

- Marketing and promotional techniques with Canva
Outcomes:
By the end of the course students would be able to:
- Get a certificate of completion.
- Understand air-conditioning principles
- Identify key air-conditioning components and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks & execute basic repairs.
- Identify and troubleshoot common problems, such as leaks and inadequate cooling.
- Safely handle refrigerants, including proper procedures for recovery, recycling, and disposal, in compliance with environmental regulations.
